Legal Disclaimer

​​​Kasturi Mahanta Counselling OPC Pvt Ltd., also known as Hey Miss Therapist does not deal with medical or psychological emergencies. We are not designed to offer support in crisis situations - including when an individual is experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide or is showing symptoms of severe clinical disorders such as schizophrenia and other psychotic conditions. In these cases, in-person medical intervention is the most appropriate form of help.

If you feel you are experiencing any of these difficulties, or if you are considering or contemplating suicide or feel that you are a danger to yourself or to others, we would urge you to seek help at the nearest hospital or emergency room where you can connect with a psychiatrist, social worker, counsellor or therapist in person. The same applies in case of any medical or psychological health emergency. We recommend you involve a close family member or a friend who can offer support.

​Kasturi Mahanta Counselling OPC Pvt Ltd., also known as Hey Miss Therapist delivers emotional wellness products and Services( focusing majorly but not limited to relationships) to individuals. Their offerings may include/are:

  • Online and face-to-face consultation

  • Workshops and/or webinars 

  • Self-help tools, content and programmes through a range of channels including, but not restricted to websites, mobile applications and emails

  • Participation in user forums, topics, replies, comments, feedback, blogs and any other submissions on the platform​

User Agreement

By choosing to visit and/or avail of any Services and/or product and/or resource from Kasturi Mahanta Counselling OPC Pvt Ltd., the user confirms that they are above 18 years of age and are not otherwise incompetent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and are legally allowed to take decisions of their own. The user also accepts and agrees to our Terms and Conditions (hereafter referred to as “User Agreement”) and those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlinks.

Please read the User Agreement carefully. The terms in the User Agreement are in effect upon your using or availing of Services, resources or any product from the platform. Accessing the Service/platform on any medium, including but not limited to mobile phones, smartphones and tablets, is also subject to the terms of the User

Understanding Our Terms & Conditions

During the course of the User Agreement, it is expressly stated, understood and agreed by you (user) that you (user) shall abide by the following terms of use.

  • You are 18 years of age or older, not otherwise incompetent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and that your use of the platform shall not violate any applicable law or regulation;

  • All registration information you submit - either to us directly or through your organisation - is truthful and accurate and that you agree to maintain the accuracy of such information;

  • Your use of the platform is solely for your personal and non-commercial use. Any use of this platform or its content other than for personal purposes is prohibited.

  • Your personal and non-commercial use of this platform shall be subjected to the following restrictions:

  • You shall not modify any content of the platform;

  • You shall not decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the content;

  • You shall not delete or modify any content of the platform and / or Services, including but not limited to, legal notices, disclaimers or proprietary notices such as copyright or trademark symbols, logos, that you do not own or have express permission to modify;

  • You shall not use the platform and / or Services in any way that is unlawful, or harms the Company or any other person or entity, as determined in the Company’s sole discretion.

  • You shall not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contents on the platform through which the Service is provided, without any written permission by Kasturi Mahanta Counselling OPC Pvt Ltd..

  • You shall not post, submit, upload, distribute, or otherwise transmit or make available any software or other computer files that contain a virus or other harmful component, or otherwise impair or damage the platform and / or Services or any connected network, or otherwise interfere with any person or entity’s use of the platform and / or the Services.

  • You acknowledge that when you access a link that leaves the platform, the site you enter into is not controlled by the Company and different terms of use and privacy policies may apply. By accessing links to other sites, you acknowledge that the Company is not responsible for those sites. The Company reserves the right to disable links from third-party sites to the platform, although the Company is under no obligation to do so.

  • You agree that you shall pay all applicable fees on time. In case of late payment, Kasturi Mahanta Counselling OPC Pvt Ltd. reserves the right to levy a charge/interest on the outstanding amount or cancel your services.

  • You take responsibility to check the technical specifications required before making a booking for a session or before availing of any of the other digital offerings.

  • You may not host, display, upload, modify, publish, transmit, update or share any information that:

  • belongs to another person and to which you do not have any right to;

  • deceives or misleads the addressee about the origin of such messages or communicates any information which is grossly offensive or menacing in nature; and

  • threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order or causes incitement to the commission of any cognizable offence or prevents investigation of any offence or is insulting any other nation.

 

Agreement.

We reserve the right to add, modify or remove sections from the User Agreement at any point in time during the course of the agreement with no prior notice. Continuing to use the RelationshipTherapy.in platform, and purchase of any Service, resource or product, forms an obligatory legal agreement between the user and Kasturi Mahanta Counselling OPC Pvt Ltd.. Liability to review the User Agreement from time to time lies with the user. Continuation of the use of the platform after revision of the User Agreement will be deemed to be an acceptance of the revised terms.​

Cancellation and refund

​

  • In case of any grievance, you can write to us at contact@relationshiptherapy.in and we will get back to you within 24 hours

  • No refund in cases of cancellation before 6 hours of the session. A full refund can be only claimed if cancelled 24 hours before the 1:1 session

  • Full Refund in case of medical emergency before course completion given only with medical proof

  • Once a refund request is approved, we will process the refund within 5-7 working days. The refunded amount will be credited directly to the customer’s bank account or original payment method.

  • All sessions are undertaken with the intention of helping a client. No guarantee of any results as it depends on the dedication & effort of the client.

  • All sessions are confidential. No recording is allowed. In case of any breach, the client will be banned from further sessions and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • The decision of Kasturi Mahanta Counselling OPC Pvt Ltd. will be final and binding. 

  • Policy, terms, and conditions can be changed without prior notice

Membership Plan Terms and Conditions

 Before proceeding with your membership, please read and agree to the following Terms and Conditions to ensure clarity around session usage, cancellations, renewals, and more.

By purchasing any of our membership plans, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or need clarification, please reach out to us.

1. Membership Plans

We offer various membership plans, each providing access to different session packages and additional support. All memberships are designed to help you achieve lasting emotional growth and stability.

Available Membership Plans for Individual and Couple Sessions : 

  1. Bronze: 1 session per month

  2. Silver: 2 sessions per month

  3. Gold: 4 sessions per month + email support

2. Session Usage and Redemption

  • Validity: All sessions are valid within the calendar month in which they are purchased. Sessions must be redeemed by the last day of the month; unused sessions will expire and cannot be carried over to the next month.

  • Booking Sessions: You are encouraged to book your sessions in advance to ensure availability. All session bookings are subject to therapist availability.

  • Unused Sessions: If you do not use your allocated sessions within the month, they will expire and no refunds will be issued for the unused sessions. You are responsible for ensuring you schedule and attend your sessions within the month.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

We understand that life can sometimes get in the way, and we strive to accommodate changes where possible. However, in order to maintain a fair and organized scheduling system, we have set the following cancellation and rescheduling policy:

  • Cancellation Notice: You must provide at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of a session. If you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled session, the session will be considered forfeited and cannot be rescheduled or refunded.

  • No-Show Policy: If you miss a session without prior notice, it will be marked as forfeited and considered used. A no-show will not be rescheduled unless under extenuating circumstances, and such instances will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule a session, please do so with a minimum of 24 hours' notice. You may reschedule one session per month without penalty. Sessions that are not rescheduled with sufficient notice will be lost.

  • Makeup Sessions: We do not provide makeup sessions for missed appointments unless there are extenuating circumstances, such as a medical emergency. Requests for makeup sessions must be communicated within 48 hours after a missed session.

4. Renewal and Payment

  • Automatic Renewals: All memberships will be automatically renewed on the 1st of each month. By purchasing a membership, you authorize us to charge your account for the renewal of your plan. You will receive a reminder email at least 3 days prior to the renewal.

  • Renewal Charges: Your renewal charges will be the same as your original membership fee unless you are notified of a change. You will be given the option to cancel or adjust your membership before the renewal date.

  • Payment Methods: Payments for all membership plans must be made through the payment options available at checkout. You agree to provide accurate billing information at the time of purchase.

  • Non-Refundable: All membership fees are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel your membership after payment, no partial or full refund will be issued. You may continue to use your sessions until the end of the current billing cycle.

  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change the pricing of our membership plans. Any price changes will be communicated to you via email 30 days prior to the change.

5. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Extra Sessions

  • Upgrading or Downgrading Membership Plans: You may upgrade or downgrade your membership plan at the start of the next billing cycle. Upgrades or downgrades will be applied from the next month and you will be charged accordingly for the new plan.

  • Extra Sessions: If you require more sessions than your membership includes, additional sessions can be purchased at a rate of ₹2,500 per session for Indian clients and $60 per session for global clients. Extra sessions must be scheduled in advance and will be billed separately.

  • Pro-Rating: If you upgrade your plan mid-month, a pro-rated charge will apply based on the days left in the current billing cycle.

6. Client Responsibilities

  • Session Booking: You are responsible for booking your sessions ahead of time to secure your preferred time slots.

  • Attendance: It is your responsibility to attend the scheduled sessions. If you cannot attend, you must cancel or reschedule as per our 24-hour notice policy.

  • Communication: You agree to communicate any issues or needs you have regarding your sessions, including cancellations or rescheduling, in a timely manner.

  • Respectful Behavior: You agree to maintain a respectful and professional attitude during your sessions. Disrespectful behavior may result in termination of your membership, with no refund.

7. Session Validity and Expiration

Sessions that are not redeemed within the calendar month will expire. We encourage you to use your sessions each month to avoid losing them.

  • Sessions are valid only in the month purchased: If you do not attend your sessions within the month, they will not be carried over, refunded, or credited.

8. Membership Cancellation

  • Cancellation Request: You can cancel your membership at any time before the renewal date by emailing us at contact@relationshiptherapy.in. Please note that cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no refund will be issued for unused sessions.

  • Immediate Cancellation: If you violate any terms, including failure to maintain respectful behavior during sessions or failure to adhere to cancellation policies, we reserve the right to cancel your membership immediately, without refund.

9. Liability and Limitations

  • Therapy Services: All services provided are for emotional and psychological support. We do not offer medical, legal, or financial advice. If you require such services, please consult the relevant professionals.

  • Limitation of Liability: We are not liable for any loss or damage to you or any third party arising from your use of the membership services.

  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our services due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, government regulations, or other unforeseeable events.

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy and confidentiality are extremely important to us. We adhere to strict confidentiality protocols to ensure your personal and therapeutic information is protected.

  • Personal Information: We will never share your personal information with any third party without your express consent, except as required by law.

  • Confidentiality of Sessions: All information shared during therapy sessions is confidential, unless there is a legal obligation to disclose it (e.g., harm to yourself or others).

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated via email, and your continued use of the membership will constitute acceptance of those changes.
